ALL MUSIC MUST BE MEMORIZED
Performance Time Allotment: 15 minutes in audition (preliminary round); 20 minutes in semi-finals; 30 minutes in finals. The competitor chooses the first piece in audition, then the judges may stop the performance at any time and request another piece or portion (movement) until 15 minutes have passed. Therefore, the competitor must be prepared to play any of the six pieces listed in the chosen repertoire.
